History of Eigil 310

Over the years, Steven Rasksen has consistently had inspired ideas mainly involving manufacturing, but not excluding ways and means of simplifying life in general.  As with most of us, he let many of his original concepts go by the wayside due to the time constraints of everyday life with a family and a high pressure job.  Lucky for us, he has also had innovative concepts, which are outside the realm of business. Being a devout family man, he had a vision of fabricating innovative and mentally stimulating board games, focusing on drawing the family unit back together. In this fast paced high-technology based world, that we live in, it seems as though spending time together, as a family unit, has been all but forgotten.   The ease of plugging in with the availability of that 52” TV screen and a pile of video games has taken the family and separated everyone.

As far as research has told us, it has been twenty six years since the last original board game, one that had the capacity to hold the interest of all of the family members.

Steven’s first brainchild is Eigil 310, which we will be introducing in 2008.  It is the first in a line-up of four games.  Steven had been contemplating all of these games for many years, but in 2007, he was finally able to produce the first in the series. Eigil 310.

With the use of a CNC router and his years of experience in the plastics industry, he prototyped the game. The clear board, bright and colorful plastic cards and the unique card holder.  He had brought his dream to life.
A short two months later the game was ready for test groups.  Focus groups raved and Eigil 310 and Steven were a success.

Now in 2008 the rest of the world can play this challenging, fun and family oriented game.
